Jason came to Nashville for the 4th of July in 2022. The purpose of this trip was to see if this city was where he wanted to be. The fireworks were not the only things popping off that night: Jason and Jenna matched on a dating app and began the conversation.

After a week of witty back and forth, Jenna picked a nearby Mexican restaurant to meet for dinner. The meal was just okay, but the chemistry was sizzling like the fajitas. Jason said "Well, this was the most mediocre Mexican I've ever had, I could just cook dinner for you the next time we get together."

Jenna agreed to dinner a few days later, Jason made her filet mignon with roasted potatoes and swiss chard. After watching him crack jokes while cooking, Jenna knew that she had found someone special: her personal comedian and chef.

Fast forward to February of 2023, Jenna moves in with Jason and his dog Tama. Jason willingly sacrificed the majority of his closet to her wardrobe, he was not bitter at all about it. They lived out the lease in Lenox Village and decided to move to Music Row in the summer of 2023.

As the months went by, their bond grew stronger. They spent Thanksgiving on Long Island with Jenna's family. During this trip, Jason asked her father for permission to marry his daughter. He responded with a heartfelt reply: "She's your problem now, no backsies."

During Christmas of 2023, Jenna's parents and Jason's mother visited Nashville. Jason said he had to work Christmas Eve, so he bought tickets for everyone to go see a Christmas lights display at a botanical garden. Jason fooled everyone and showed up. While posing for pictures in the mansion in front of a tall tree, Jason got down on one knee and proposed.

Now that the date is official and the wheels are in motion, we can't wait to party with everyone in May. See you soon.
